Update day

I took some time today to update Wordpress (this blog), Mantis (Sharemedia bugtracker) and the linux distro of my server. Everything is now up to date.

Last time I tried to update Mantis from 1.0.0a4 to 1.1.0 the upgrade process was always failing so I gave up. This time with 1.1.1, it only took a single clic to update. This also fixed the problem with mantis connect (early versions did not support php5) thus Mylyn can be used again to query the tracker. Cool.

New bug tracker for Sharemedia (continued)

I’ve just finished moving requests from Sourceforge to the new ShareMedia bug tracker.

The new one is using Mantis and has far better features than the Sourceforge one :

  • Ability to manage a roadmap
  • Automatic change log
  • Better query system and statistics
  • Last but not the least : a full compatibility to Eclipse’s Mylyn, a task focused plugin for the Eclipse IDE, used for development.

Every one is welcome to register to the new bugtracker and submit bug reports and feature request or simply check out the changelog and roadmap.
